This page is an introduction, not a full disclosure or complete argument. For the record, I am not interested in UFOs. My interest is in extraterrestrials and their technologies and philosophies. I do not "believe in" ETs, gravity, the moon, bacteria or computers. Those who fear greatly seek to make the word "believe" mean something useless.
If you need or want more information about this topic, seek it yourself. Don't ask me to convince you. That is not my job.

For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it. -- Patrick Henry |
Monsignor Corrado Balducci, a Vatican theologian, said: "Extraterrestrial contact is a real phenomenon. The Vatican is receiving much information about extraterrestrials and their contacts with humans from its embassies in various countries, such as Mexico, Chile and Venezuela." |
David Justus Arnold's position
It seems United States' government policy about disclosure (about Extraterrestrials and extraterrestrial technology) and disinformation has changed from "ridicule" to "gradual acclimation." OK. Whatever.
Visitors from off planet immediately raise questions of the technologies involved: energy, propulsion, control, consciousness, civil social behavior and more.
Steven Greer has proposed the release of information about advanced technologies that can only be used for peaceful purposes. The problem is that every technology can be used for non-peaceful purposes.

Mikhail Gorbachev, the USSR's last head of state: "The phenomenon of UFOs does exist, and it must be treated seriously." Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding, commander of RAF Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain: "I am convinced that these objects do exist and that they are not manufactured by any nations on earth." |
Dr J Allen Hynek, director of the US Air Force's Project Blue Book investigation into UFOs, said: "When the long-awaited solution to the UFO problem comes, I believe that it will prove to be not merely the next small step in the march of science, but a mighty and totally unexpected quantum leap... we had a job to do, whether right or wrong, to keep the public from getting excited." General Douglas MacArthur, the Korean and Second World War soldier, said in 1955 that "the next war will be an interplanetary war. The nations of the earth must someday make a common front against attack by people from other planets. The politics of the future will be cosmic, or interplanetary". |

Richard Nixon, US President from 1969 to 1974: "I'm not at liberty to discuss the government's knowledge of extraterrestrial UFO's at this time. I am still personally being briefed on the subject."
Jimmy Carter, US President from 1976 to 1980, promised while on the campaign trail that he would make public all documents on UFOs if elected. He said: "I don't laugh at people any more when they say they've seen UFOs. I've seen one myself."
Ronald Reagan, US President from 1980 to 1988, "I looked out the window and saw this white light. It was zigzagging around. I went up to the pilot and said, 'Have you ever seen anything like that?' He was shocked and he said, 'nope.' And I said to him: 'Let's follow it!' We followed it for several minutes. It was a bright white light. We followed it to Bakersfield, and all of a sudden to our utter amazement it went straight up into the heavens. When I got off the plane I told Nancy all about it."
Barry Goldwater, US Senator and presidential candidate(1964)... On March 28, 1975, Goldwater wrote the following, highly thought-provoking, words to a UFO researcher named Shlomo Arnon:
“The subject of UFOs is one that has interested me for some long time. About ten or twelve years ago I made an effort to find out what was in the building at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where the information is stored that has been collected by the Air Force, and I was understandably denied this request. It is still classified above Top Secret.”
Goldwater continued to Arnon: “I have, however, heard that there is a plan under way to release some, if not all, of this material in the near future. I’m just as anxious to see this material as you are, and I hope we will not have to wait much longer.”
For those interested in a few more suggestions, consider the following.
Clearly I think we should avoid being stampeded into more violence for the benefit of the few at the cost of the many.
